I’m Karen Peddie and I own Karen Peddie Holistics.
I am a Reiki Master Teacher, Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT or Tapping) Practitioner, Essential Oil Educator and Himalayan Salt Lamp stockist.
I help people who are want to feel more relaxed and calm and less stressed and anxious by taking a whole person approach to Health and Well being.

What have you enjoyed most about 2018?
Learning more about business, my business in particular and working through things I would have previously impossible for me to do.
What’s been your proudest moment this year?
There have been loads this year, but I will say, branching out on my own. Creating a brand with my own logo, business cards and leaflets.
What’s been your biggest win in your business in 2018?
Being invited to take part in an open day at my GP’S surgery. My GP has supported me as I came off antidepressants and was happy for me to share my story.
How has the Business Cheerleading Club helped you achieve/support you in 2018?
I am much clearer and more focused on what I actually want to do and why I want to do it. It’s a fab place to air your ideas and thoughts and to work through them so you can decide whether or not it will work for you. When you realise, YOU have made the decision, (with a bit of prompting!), it is very empowering.
What one tip would you give other business owners to grow their business in the right way for them?
Look at joining the Cheerleading club. Talk about it and make the decision to get the right support for you to grow yourself and your business.
I’m so pleased I took the opportunity to invest in ME, because if I hadn’t, I would still be in a job I knew was wrong for me and would undoubtedly have made me ill by now.
It’s been a real delight to work with you this past year Karen. You and your business have grown beyond recognition. The steps you’ve taken have all been yours. We’ve just been there to walk with you, or be a shoulder to lean on when you’ve needed it. Can’t wait to see what you achieve for yourself and those people you’re supporting next year 🙂
My favourite book of the year is
a trilogy of Anna Jacobs books. Easy to read, relatable stories about women beating the odds!
Oh, this is a lovely story. I am so pleased to see people rise out of depression and make a success of their lives. And Karen is so lucky to have Tracey-Jane to help her as well!

Very true that running your own business can be very lonely. Even if you have a staff team, they aren’t always the right people to support you or talk ideas over with. It’s great to support so many wonderful people who’ve created brilliant businesses and watch you and your businesses grow.
